Dr. Turek grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and went to medical school at
Northwestern University in Chicago. He interned at Los Angeles
County General Hospital and returned to Northwestern for orthopaedic
surgery residency and fellowship training in hand surgery. He was then
chief of orthopaedic surgery at Fort Campbell, Kentucky with the 101st
Airborne Division. Following the Service he settled in the South Bay
area. Dr. Turek practices general orthopaedics with special interests
in endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery, arthroscopic and joint
replacement surgery, and golf related injuries.
